St Barnabas Parish Church
is a member of the Mossley Hill Team Ministry, a group of 3 churches in the Mossley Hill area of Liverpool:
All Hallows Allerton
SS Matthew and James
St Barnabas.
The Team Ministry was formed in 2006 and is served by Team Rector: Rev. Godfrey Butland and Team Vicar: Rec Alan Kennedy.
Originally the St Barnabas District of SS Matthew and James was formed in 1900. Initially the congregation occupied a temporary iron church but in 1914 moved into the present church when the new Parish of St Barnabas, Mossley Hill was officially founded. The new parish having been carved out of the larger parish of SS Matthew and James Mossley Hill. Fuller details may be found by clicking on the left hand tabs marked

The St Barnabas, Mossley Hill Parish continued until 2006 when it was merged with the other churches in the group to form the new Benefice of Mossley Hill.
